Lazao — the everyday assistant
Lazao answers in the language of the question, on an entry-level phone, and is paid for with the money on that phone. A free tier lets people genuinely use it before paying anything; the paid tier has a single price, converted into round amounts in each currency.
What we developed around the models: M-Pesa and MVola collection with conversion at the day's rate and rounding, detection of the question's language, rolling 24-hour quotas, and one simple rule: an answer that fails is not counted.
With Lazao+, you dictate a quote or a CV; the model writes the structure, our server lays it out in Word, Excel or PowerPoint, and the file goes out on WhatsApp. The three models and image creation are included.
Where and when. Lazao opens soon in Kenya and Madagascar, with M-Pesa and MVola. Everywhere else it is reachable by card, in dollars. The following countries will open one by one, every six months, and the list is kept on the Availability page.
On Mac and Windows PC. Lazao will also exist as a desktop app, for Mac and for Windows, which we will distribute ourselves at launch.
Lazao's plans
Two offers and a single price. The price shown is the amount we charge, converted to round amounts in each currency; the only sum we cannot absorb is the fee your bank or operator may apply on its own side, on your statement. The details and the fair-use quotas will be published at launch.
Prices are the same in every country; the Pricing page on lazao.com shows the amount in your currency.
